What activities do you enjoy here?

Usually I go towards the path or the beach, but we also walk back and forth quite a bit.

Would you like the Great Highway to remain partially or totally closed to vehicles?

I haven’t decided yet… It’s just wonderful to see everyone out, families, people watching, the sunsets and all that. But I understand it’s a hardship on the people who live a couple blocks back. Probably I’d be for some sort of a compromise.

One interesting thing I heard was to make one side a two lane, for cars and then this side for other people, but then you have the crossing problem.

What does The Great Highway Park mean to you?

It’s therapy. To be by the beach and to have space, but also people around. It’s the perfect distancing situation because you’re amongst people but you’re not that close… So you don’t feel so isolated.
